Fun Places to Eat in Sandy Springs – World Peace Café
August 13, 2008 by Lee Davenport
If you love experiencing the sights and sounds of Sandy Springs, want to stay within a reasonable budget to offset the gas money you spend, and want a healthy choice for dining, then your next stop should be the World Peace Café.
Centrally located in Sandy Springs in the City Walk complex at 220 Hammond Drive, this must-visit restaurant is known for its friendly staff (which are comprised of mostly volunteers – which translates into cost savings for us as patrons), great tasting vegan food, and trendy décor. And believe-it-or-not, you can get a filling lunch meal for under $5 – much better than the local, greasy fast-food restaurant. As an added bonus, the restaurant offers free WIFI for its patrons.

Places to Love: Sandy Springs’ Ferry Heights Subdivision
August 11, 2008 by Lee Davenport
Looking for some European flair in the heart of the south? Well, then explore the gorgeous real estate in Sandy Springs’ Ferry Heights subdivision, located at the intersection of Johnson Ferry Rd. and Roswell Rd. As a buyer, I love that the homes are in various stages of construction so I can find a fairly new home that still is customizable or I can find a well-established home that is move-in ready. I also love that these real estate properties contain up to 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, and many sit on close to 1 acre of land. Unfortunately, this is not a subdivision with a community swim or tennis facility but I digress.

SANDY SPRINGS KIDS – This Week’s Spotlight: IMAGYM
August 8, 2008 by Lee Davenport
As I walked into Imagym, I was impressed with the colorful setup and the sight of children happily engaging in floor exercises. In this day and age of technology, it was refreshing to not see children glued to a screen with a game controller in hand! Upon entry, I was greeted promptly by the director Stacy Davis (sdavis@imagymkids.com) and directed to the resources of the center.
